Yes!! I live in Wilkes County, North Carolina but I love travelling. I do charge a flat rate travel fee depending on the destination.

Outdoor sessions should take place within a couple hours after sunrise or about an hour before sunset. These two timeframes ensure the best lighting for my clients without worrying about working around the midday sun. Daytime sessions can be successful as long as we are in a shady location. In-home sessions can usually be done at any time of day as long as there is sufficient natural light inside the home.

I recommend wearing something simple and preferably solid-colored. Plaid, stripes, bold patterns, words, and logos on clothing tend to take the attention away from faces. Family members in group portraits should wear coordinating colors so that no one sticks out against the others. Always keep the weather in mind!

I understand that sometimes you just never know what you're gonna get. If you have a morning session I will reach out the day before to cancel and we can come up with a new date. If you have an evening session I will wait to cancel the morning or afternoon of that date in case things begin to look up. There are no fees associated with cancelled sessions due to weather, we will simply reschedule.
